 e technologie supérieure (ÉTS)\n2008 – 2009 (1 year)\nPreliminary resu
lts on the fusion of diffusion MRI and EEG\nDiffusion MRI can recover whit
e matter fibre bundles\, but it is blind to their directionality and their
contribution to functional data. We propose to identify the directionalit
y of white matter fibre bundles by combining diffusion MRI and EEG data. B
ased on a realistic model of the brain and simulated EEG data\, our prelim
inary results show that our proposed method is able to differentiate betwe
en afferent and efferent white matter connections. In addition\, this comb
ination of structural and functional information allows us to track inform
ation flow in the white matter.
