 research focuses on the contradictions apparent in contemporary urban cond
 itions and ask how these might be made manifest and interrogated.\nThe lec
 ture will cover research in relation to selected recent projects\, ranging
  from urban design proposals for Parliament Square in London through to th
 e details of several award-winning public buildings throughout the UK.
