 collaboration with Debiopharm group in co-organizing a new conference as p
 art of the Debiopharm Academy. Debiopharm is a Swiss-based global biopharm
 aceutical group of companies with a focus on the development of innovative
  prescription drugs that target unmet medical needs. Oncology is the group
 ’s main area of expertise (https://www.debiopharm.com/). Debiopharm Acad
 emy aims to promote constructive conversation between academia and industr
 y\, by sharing experiences and understanding of today’s challenges.   I
 n this opportunity\, Debiopharm will give a 45-minute talk called “Phase
  I clinical trials : experience from a mid-size Pharma : The recent BIA-10
 -2474 Phase I French fatal clinical trial\, analysis and consequences”. 
 In order to promote and enhance the interaction between EPFL scientists an
 d the company\, the presentation will be followed by an apéro where the a
 udience will have the opportunity to ask questions and discuss personally 
 with people from Debiopharm. The event will take place on Tuesday\, Octobe
 r 4th from 17h00 at BC420.
