 roprotection and Functional Restoration. Funding for one or two years will
  be allocated\; up to 75\,000 CHF for one year\, 150\,000 CHF for two year
 s on the basis of scientific quality and relevance to paraplegia for resea
 rch proposals studying mechanisms of injury and repair\, as well as long t
 erm recovery. Applications from start up groups are welcome.\n\nThe IRP wi
 ll also award one IRP Postdoctoral Fellowship for up to two years to suppo
 rt post-doctoral research in paraplegia.\n
