DESCRIPTION:The Seed Money grants enable EPFL scientists to consolidate re
 search partnerships and carry out applied research that has a positive imp
 act on sustainable development.\n\nDuring the Seed Money Conference\, EPFL
  researchers and their partners will discuss their collaboration experienc
 es with participants and present their results achieved and impact generat
 ed. They will also talk about the opportunities and challenges to bring th
 eir seed money projects to the next level.\n\nConfirmed speakers include P
 rof. Ursula Röthlisberger (LCBC)\, who will present her lately collaborat
 ion experience with Iranian partners on the project « Computational and e
 xperimental design of low cost solar cells with enhanced efficiencies »\,
  and Prof. Christophe Moser (LPAD)\, who will show the highlights of his p
 roject « Contactless sensing and temperature regulation in an infant incu
 bator for developing countries »\, implemented this year with Indian coll
 eagues. On a subsequent session\, Dr. Felippe De Alencastro (GR-CEL) and P
 rof. Katrin Beyer (EESD) will present preliminary results of their work in
  Vietnam and Colombia respectively\, and will discuss their collaboration 
 prospects. Further speakers include: Dr. Sandor Kasas\, Dr. Yves Pedrazzin
 i\, Dr. Nicolas Wyrsch.\n\nThis occasion will include the launch of the Ca
 ll for Seed Money Projects 2017.\n\nThe conference will be followed by a n
