DESCRIPTION:\nIf\, as a young principal investigator\, you need support to
  consolidate your independence\, the ERC is here to help. ERC Consolidator
  Grants are designed to back up researchers who want to establish their re
 search teams and continue developing a successful career in Europe. The sc
 heme also strengthens independent and excellent new individual research te
 ams that have been recently created.\n\n\nERC CoG in brief:\n\n\n	Eligibil
 ity: researchers of any nationality with 7-12 years of experience since co
 mpletion of PhD (extensions are possible – see the latest ERC Work Progr
 amme for details)\, a scientific track record showing scientific talent an
 d an excellent research proposal\n	Location: research must be conducted in
  a public or private research organisation (known as a Host Institution/HI
 ). It could be the HI where the applicant already works\, or any other HI 
 located in one of the EU Member States or Associated Countries\n	Funding
  per grant: up to € 2 million\n	Duration: up to 5 years\n	Sole evaluatio
