DESCRIPTION:Fonds National Suisse (FNS/SNSF)\n\nSinergia promotes the inte
 rdisciplinary collaboration of two to four research groups that propose br
 eakthrough research.\n\n\nA consortium can consist of no less than 2 and n
 o more than 4 applicants. If there are 3 or more applicants\, one applican
 t can be based abroad.\n\n\nCertain restrictions apply:\n\n\n	only one Sin
 ergia project per person and period\, this includes co-applicants\n	only o
 ne Sinergia application per applicant and deadline\, this includes co-appl
 icants\n	SNSF professors may submit a Sinergia application 2 years after s
 tarting their SNSF professorship at the earliest\n	Ambizione grantees are 
 excluded for the duration of their grant.\n\n\nBudget: min. CHF 50'000\, u
 p to CHF 3.2 millions in proportion to the number of participating researc
 h groups and duration of the project (typically CHF CHF 200’000 per year
