 he aim of this workshop is to connect science and engineering students wit
 h artists and designers to explore new applications of biomaterials. We en
 courage participants to explore alternative ways of conducting scientific
  research in an interdisciplinary setting.\n\nWhat would happen in Co-lab 
 Biomaterials workshop.\n\n	DESIGN WORKSHOP: Brainstorming on the biomateri
 als using a human centered design thinking method. Creating a narrative wh
 ere the materials are used in a everyday context.\n	LAB ROTATIONS: we will
  have lab activities around the topic of biomaterial. Participants will ha
 ve the chance to touch\, sense\, and experiment on different materials\, l
 ike kombucha\, algea based materials\, fungus materials\, natural fibers..
 ...\n	SCIENCE LECTURES : Short lectures on the biology and physics of the 
 biomaterials will be given during the workshop.\n	PROTOTYPE MAKING:  On t
 he last day of the workshop\, we will  make tangible prototypes to demons
 trate your group project. \n
