DESCRIPTION:Jean Verrette (EPFL)\nA sheaf can serve as a tool to relate gl
obal versus local functions acting on some space. We begin by associating
the basic definitions and measurable quantities of sheaves over finite gra
phs to the more general definitions of sheaves over topological spaces. We
consider an instantiation of the Blue Brain connectome as a finite direct
ed graph with nodes at each neuron. We explore new ways to characterize st
imuli through applications\, and we experiment with possible methods to or
ganize response data from large populations of neurons.
