 \, there is particular interest in differentiating measures in various non
 -Euclidean settings such as homogeneous groups and in particular Carnot gr
 oups. In this talk\, all these notions will be defined and discussed. More
 over\, we shall see which are the groups that admits the differentiation t
 heorem for measures. Applications to sub-Riemannian geometry may be discus
 sed.
