DESCRIPTION:Dr. Zhouye Chen\, Heriot Watt University\, Edinburgh\nIn this
  talk\, I will present my thesis work in the area of Ultrasound imaging. T
 o begin with\, the ultrasound imaging will be simply introduced. Once the
  explanation to compressive sampling and deconvolution\, including their 
 direct model\, theory and application to Ultrasound imaging\, are done\, t
 he proposed framework of Compressive Deconvolution adjusted to Ultrasound
  imaging will then be described as a second stage.  Afterward\, two novel
  algorithms to reconstruct the target image in this framework will be det
 ailed. One of them is based on Alternative Direction Method of Multipliers
  (ADMM) and the other is based on Simultaneous Direction Method of Multip
 liers (SDMM). Finally\, I will show the results on both simulated Ultraso
 und images and in vivo data.\n\nBio: Zhouye Chen is a Research Associate
  in the Biomedical and Astronomical Signal Processing (BASP) group at He
 riot Watt University\, Edinburgh\, UK. She received her Ph.D. degree in
  Signal\, Image and Acoustics Processing from University Paul Sabatier To
 ulouse 3 in October 2016\, M.Sc degree from the University of Chinese Ac
 ademy of Sciences\, China in June 2013 and B.Sc degree in Electrical Engin
 eering from Dalian University of Technology\, China in June 2010. Her th
 esis has been focused on the inverse problems of ultrasound image processi
 ng\, particularly deconvolution and compressive sampling. Her paper "Joi
 nt Compressive Sampling and Deconvolution in Ultrasound Medical Imaging" w
 as selected as one of the best student paper finalists in IEEE Internatio
 nal Ultrasonics Symposium 2015. She is currently working on projects “co
 mpressive quantitative MR imaging” with Prof. Yves Wiaux.
