DESCRIPTION:The Sino-Swiss Science and Technology Cooperation (SSSTC) prog
 ram was established in 2003 after the signing of a memorandum of understan
 ding which serves as a foundation for intensified research collaboration b
 etween Swiss and Chinese scientists. The Exchange Grants are meant to be a
 n instrument for encouraging follow-up activities after initial joint acti
 vities. These grants shall enable mid-term (6-24 months) personnel exchang
 es (PhD students or post-doctoral researchers) that may pave the way for f
 uture more ambitious or more engaging joint research projects.\n\nDeadline
