 tion and objectives\nThis workshop is for advanced PhD students and Postdo
 cs who plan to apply for a fellowship or grant.The objectives of this work
 shop are:\n\n	Receive information about funding organizations and suitable
  funding possibilities especially for women researchers (Switzerland and E
 U) and in respect of\n	the academic level and career plans\n	Know the most
  important features about planning and preparing an application and a rese
 arch project\n	Practical exercises: analysis of the current career situati
 on of each participant and work on the first part of an application.\n	Gro
 up coaching: participants present and discuss their career concept within 
 the group and receive feedback by the trainer (see Approach)\n\n\nApproach
 \nTheory by the trainer combined with individual work\, practical exercise
 s\, group discussions and feedback. Practical exercises are based on CV an
 d career concept of each participant. The career concept will be prepared 
 by the participants before the course starts and according to trainers req
 uirements (details will be communicated at the latest two weeks before the

 ch/regard\n\nThe REGARD programme is addressed to young female academics o
 f the next generation and for women professors of the universities of Fren
 ch-speaking Switzerland\, HES-SO and EPFL. The REGARD programme is organiz
 ed by the gender equality offices those institutions.\n\nThe objective of 
 the REGARD program is to develop skills and offer concrete tools for caree
 r management and supervision. These workshops also create spaces for discu
 ssion and exchange of experiences among researchers. They also aim to incr
 ease awareness of gender equality issues in academic careers.
