DESCRIPTION:IMI 2 - Call 8\n\nThe Innovative Medicines Initiative (IMI) is
  working to improve health by speeding up the development of\, and patient
  access to\, innovative medicines\, particularly in areas where there is a
 n unmet medical or social need. It does this by facilitating collaboration
  between the key players involved in healthcare research\, including unive
 rsities\, the pharmaceutical and other industries\, small and medium-sized
  enterprises (SMEs)\, patient organisations\, and medicines regulators. IM
 I is a partnership between the European Union (represented by the European
  Commission) and the European pharmaceutical industry (represented by EFPI
 A\, the European Federation of Pharmaceutical Industries and Associations)
 .\n\nSubmission deadline: 14 September 2017 and 15 March 2018\n\nSubject:\
 nThis Call\, the second under the Ebola+ programme\, provides an opportuni
 ty to capture emerging scientific advances and to progress those rapidly i
 nto healthcare interventions. As such\, the key deliverables of projects f
 unded under the Ebola+ programme must be outputs that will increase our pr
 eparedness to react to future outbreaks of Ebola and other filoviral haemo
