 o invite all newly enrolled PhD students for this gathering in order to me
 et and talk about all services available for them on the campus.\n\nAt 3pm
 \, we will meet in room BC 420. Prof. Pierre Vandergheynst\, Vice-Preside
 nt for Education\, will open the session with a welcome word. The EDOC wil
 l then give a presentation\, followed by other school services who will br
 iefly present themselves.\n\nStarting from 4:15\, an aperitif with snacks 
 and beverages will give you the opportunity to meet other fellow PhD stude
 nts and maybe make plans for the day-trip to Bern organized on May 4th. \
 n\nIndeed\, as a new student\, you have the possibility to take part in a 
 day-trip to the city of Bern on Thursday May 4\, where you will have the c
 hance to visit the Swiss Parliament and discover the old town (UNESCO worl
 d heritage).\n\nRegistration for both events is necessary.
