DESCRIPTION:The future of the Planet and the well-being of its inhabitants
  rest with the sustainable energies. They have to get developed in order t
 o become less expensive and to finally be THE most common energy sources\,
  ahead of the technologies that produce reasonably priced energy\, but do 
 it though processes that are very harmful to Earth.\n\n2012 was proclaimed
  International year of sustainable energy for all\, by UNESCO. Thus\, in M
 arch\, the Bibliothèque de l’EPFL modestly contributes by displaying a 
 selection of documents which explore the various sustainable energies that
  are currently booming:\n\n	\n		 Solar power (heat & photovoltaics)\n	\n	
 	 Wind power\n	\n		 Water power\n	\n		 Biomass energy\n	\n		 Geotherma
 l energy\n\n\nThis selection of books is just a drop in the ocean\, if you
  consider the size of the collections dedicated to the green energies that
  you will find here or in the other libraries affiliated to the NEBIS netw
 ork.
