DESCRIPTION:\nResearch Fellowship Program for Women in Science\n\nThe Nati
 onal Center of Competence in Research (NCCR) Bio-Inspired Materials has op
 ened a call within its Research Fellowship Program for Women in Science.\n
  \nThe program seeks to support the professional development of outstandi
 ng female researchers who have already demonstrated excellence at an early
  stage of their careers and wish to pursue an academic career. The fellows
 hips are designed to fund original research ideas of the applicants by sup
 porting their residency in the laboratory of one of the NCCR research grou
 ps or associated groups.\n \nThe program is open to female applicants of 
 all nationalities who hold or are about to earn a doctoral degree in a rel
 evant field of natural or life sciences\, such as medicine\, biology\, bio
 chemistry\, chemistry\, physics or materials science. Applications are pos
 sible within five years after the award of the first doctoral degree. Rese
 archers who are\, or who have previously been affiliated with a research g
 roup or associated group of the NCCR Bio-Inspired Materials are not eligib
 le to apply.\n\nSubmission deadlines: 09.07.2017\nFunding: The grant inclu
 des a standard researcher salary (100%) following the rules of the Swiss N
 ational Science Foundation (SNSF) for a period of 24 months and some funds
  for research expenses (including travel allowance).\nDuration: 24 months\
