DESCRIPTION:\nFemale professors continue to be underrepresented at Swiss h
 igher education institutions. By introducing PRIMA (Promoting Women in Aca
 demia)\, the SNSF aims to contribute to the appointment of female professo
 rs in Switzerland. PRIMA grants are aimed at excellent female researchers 
 from Switzerland and abroad who aspire to a professorship in Switzerland. 
 PRIMA grantees lead their own research project at a Swiss higher education
  institution. They work independently and have a team of their own.\n \nT
 his information session is aimed at female researchers at postdoc level fr
 om all disciplines as well as interested professors who want to learn more
  about PRIMA. In the course of this session\, Professor Dr. Susan Gasser w
 ill elaborate on the modalities of this new SNSF funding scheme. In her fu
 nction as president of the SNSF Gender Equality Commission\, Gasser has be
