DESCRIPTION:\nThe University of St.Gallen\, through its Centro Latinoameri
 cano-Suizo (CLS-HSG)\, has been mandated by the State Secretariat for Educ
 ation\, Research and Innovation (SERI)\, to act as Leading House granting 
 incentives and developing joint research cooperation programs with the Lat
 in American region.\n\nThe goal of the Seed Money Grants is to strengthen 
 or initiate scientific exchanges between Swiss and Latin American research
 ers and institutions in all disciplinary areas by enabling them to jointly
  undertake preliminary research or organize workshops. Seed Money Grants a
 re particularly useful to develop joint project proposals to be submitted 
 to large funding agencies (National Science Foundations in Latin America a
 nd Switzerland\, and EU funding schemes) or to combine already existing an
 d independently funded projects in Switzerland and the partner countries i
