DESCRIPTION:Swiss Personalized Health Network (SPHN) is launching a call f
 or proposals aimed at the development of a national interoperable research
  infrastructure ecosystem for competitive personalized health research. Gr
 ants are awarded for projects aiming at the development\, implementation a
 nd validation of data infrastructures that allow connecting research insti
 tutions and hospitals in order to share and use health-related data across
  Switzerland. In order to make the best use of the available resources\, t
 he SPHN call for proposals is coordinated with the ETH Domain «Strategic 
 Focus Area (SFA) in Personalized Health and Related Technologies» (PHRT) 
 (mémento PHRT).\n\nSPHN will support projects that fall into one of the f
 ollowing categories:\n1.) “Infrastructure development projects”\n\n	Su
 bmission deadline: 15 September 2017\n	Duration: max. 12 months (unless re
 quired otherwise for technical reasons)\n	SPHN funding: max. CHF 500k\n	Nu
 mber of approved projects with this call: approx. 7\n\n\n2.)“Driver proj
 ects”\n\n\n	Submission deadline: 15 September 2017\n	Duration: max. 36 m
 onths\n	SPHN funding: max. CHF 3 million\n	Number of approved projects wit
 h this call: approx. 5\n\n\nProject activities taking place within the ETH
 -Domain and within the scope of the ETH-Domain «Strategic Focus Area in P
 ersonalized Health and Related Technologies» can request additional fundi
 ng from the PHRT program. However\, applications must include at least one
  ETH-affiliate and funds can only be used within the ETH-Domain. See http:
