DESCRIPTION:The State Secretariat for Education\, Research and Innovation 
 (SERI) has mandated the University of St.Gallen as Leading House for the b
 ilateral collaboration with partner institutions in Latin America\, and to
  explore new partnerships in the region.\nThe goal of the Seed Money Grant
 s is to initiate or strengthen scientific exchange between Swiss and Lati
 n American researchers in all disciplines by enabling them to jointly und
 ertake preliminary research or organise workshops. Seed Money Grants are p
 articularly useful to develop joint project proposals to be submitted to l
 arge funding agencies in Latin America\, Switzerland\, and Europe or to co
 mbine already existing and independently funded projects in Switzerland an
 d the partner countries in order to create long lasting cooperations.\n\nD
