DESCRIPTION:BREF – Brückenschläge mit Erfolg\n\nThe BREF funding progr
 amme\, which is implemented in close collaboration with "swissuniversities
  – chamber of universities of applied sciences"\, has been focusing on t
 he topic of social innovation since 2011. The annual calls for projects ar
 e aimed at members of universities of applied science who develop strong i
 deas that can also serve as models for new and promising cooperation ventu
 res with partners from business and society. Thanks to their strong basis 
 in practical application\, universities of applied science have the specif
 ic potential to leverage social innovations.\nProject managers interested 
 in participating are recommended\, prior to drafting an application\, to c
 ontact the BREF coordination office and/or the management of Gebert Rüf S
 tiftung.\n\nSubmission deadlines: 13.08.2017\nFunding: preference given to
  projects with a max. budget of CHF 300'000\nDuration: 2 years\nSupport cr
 iteria:\n\n	The project is based at a university of applied sciences and h
 as the express support of the university management\;\n	It is geared to co
 ncrete needs and relevant problems\;\n	It satisfies the standards of quali
 ty of the respective R&D field\;\n	It is set up in a cross-functional and 
 interdisciplinary way\;\n	It entails the active involvement of "bridge" pa
 rtners from the practical\, social and business domains – the preparatio
