DESCRIPTION:As the Leading House for the Latin American Region\, the Unive
 rsity of St.Gallen through its Centro Latinoamericano-Suizo (CLS-HSG) open
 ed a Call for the one-year Research Merger on July 6\, 2017. The goal of t
 he Research Merger is to promote mono- and interdisciplinary sustainable r
 esearch cooperation between Swiss and Latin American scholars\, and produc
 e accountable scientific outcomes in domains which have been identified as
  priority by both Latin American and Swiss institutions.\n\nSubmission dea
 dlines: 30.09.2017\nFunding: between CHF 30\,000 and CHF 50\,000\nDuration
 : 1 year\nSubject (if applicable): This instrument provides a medium-size 
 format that goes beyond the Seed Money Grants to give an opportunity for n
 ew or the maturation of existing projects. It also includes the organisati
 on of collective workshops\, conferences\, fieldwork as well as initiative
 s for mobility of 1 or 2 young researchers (PhD and PostDoc candidates) fo
 r stays between two weeks and two months.\nImportant: Applicants can only 
 submit a proposal for ONE instrument: either the Seed Money Grant (deadl
