DESCRIPTION:Aim\nThe Bertarelli Foundation Catalyst Fund will support proj
 ects\, with the mission to accelerate early stages of technology developme
 nt towards therapeutic application\, for diseases that affect the brain\, 
 the spinal cord\, the peripheral nervous system\, as well as the sensory o
 rgans.\n\nRequirements\n\n	Projects must be collaborative: each proposal s
 hould have at least one principal investigator from Campus Biotech and one
  co-applicant from the partner institutions (University of Geneva\, HUG or
  EPFL) or other academic institutions of Western Switzerland (UNIL\, CHUV\
 , Uni Bern\, SUVA Sion). Projects emanating from two groups hosted at Camp
 us Biotech will also be considered.\n	A preference will be given to new pr
 ojects. Proposals to continue ongoing work in a laboratory will be less fa
 vorably reviewed.\n	Projects likely to make a significant advance within t
 he grant period will be favored.\n	An annual progress report will be requi
 red\, and continued funding will be conditional on demonstration of satisf
 actory progress\n\nConditions\n\n\n	Four to six projects will be funded\, 
 each with a duration of two years\n	Budgets will be in the range of CHF 30
 0’000 total per project\n	Application deadline: October 31\, 2017\n	Earl
