 e as founder/director of Portfolio Formation Sàrl\, Verity Elston is dev
 eloping the new careers advice service for PhDs and postdocs at the Univer
 sity of Lausanne Graduate Campus. She is also on the board of the Pride Ne
 twork of university professionals in doctoral education. Her previous expe
 rience includes leading the CUSO Transversal Program in transferable skill
 s and as deputy to the dean of the EPFL Doctoral School. Her broader profe
 ssional background in the private and public sectors in several countries 
 includes middle- and high-level recruitment. She holds a doctorate in Soci
 ocultural Anthropology from the University of Chicago\, the FSEA Certifica
 te in Adult Training and the ACC Certificate in Integral Coaching. Verity 
 conducts ongoing qualitative and quantitative research and analysis on car
 eers for doctorate holders in Switzerland and in Europe more generally.\n\
