DESCRIPTION:Aim: The FY17/18 PH/TBIRP CTRR–CRA Program Announcement supp
 orts applied and translational research to advance the development of know
 ledge and materiel products for rehabilitation and restoration of function
  following TBI. The overarching goals of this award are to address TBI-rel
 ated impairments and deficits including sensory\, sensorimotor\, and cogni
 tive dysfunction to (1) develop and validate rehabilitation outcome measur
 es\; (2) define and evaluate mechanisms of injury progression or recovery 
 associated with rehabilitation interventions\; and (3) improve clinician-d
 riven assessment strategies to guide return-to-duty decision making.\n \n
 Funding: Up to USD $2 million\n \nEligibility: Independent investigators 
 at all academic levels (or equivalent) are eligible to submit an applicati
 on. Applications must include preliminary data and/or published data from 
 the literature that are relevant to complex TBI and support the rationale 
 for the proposed research project. Preclinical studies using animals are n
 ot supported by this Program Announcement.\n \nHow to Apply: Submission i
