 ra. In this talk I will recall these possibilities and discuss the most na
 ive (or trivial) commutative ring G-spectra. Then I will sketch the main i
 ngredients coming into the proof that if G is finite and we work rationall
 y these objects correspond to (the usual) commutative differential algebra
 s in the algebraic model for rational G-spectra. This is joint work with D
 avid Barnes and John Greenlees.
