DESCRIPTION:Aim: The Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) ha
 s mandated the SNSF and its Croatian counterpart\, the Croatian Science Fo
 undation (CSF)\, to issue a call for Joint Research Projects (JRPs)\, cond
 ucted within the Croatian-Swiss Research Programme 2017 – 2023 (CSRP). T
 he initiative pursues the aims to further the integration and cooperation 
 of Croatian researchers within international networks\, to facilitate the 
 exchange of knowledge and know-how among researchers\, and to develop spec
 ific expertise at the CSF by running an exchange programme with the SNSF. 
 The JRP enables scientists from Croatia to form consortia with scientists 
 from Switzerland and to explore shared research questions in all scientifi
 c disciplines. Reciprocal visits and short stays of several weeks are envi
 saged within the context of the JRP. Overall budget is 4 MCHF\, with the a
 im of 10-12 projects to be funded.\n\nFunding and duration:\nFunding (amou
 nt): max. CHF 400\,000 CHF per project\, funded jointly by Switzerland and
  Croatia (max. 50% of the grant may go to the Swiss partner)\nDuration: ge
 nerally up to 3 years (6 months extension possible if no additional funds
