DESCRIPTION:Aim: The CF Foundation is the world's leader in the search for
  a cure for cystic fibrosis\, and is pleased to announce the release of th
 e Spring 2018 Clinical Research Award and Clinical Pilot and Feasibility A
 ward. The Clinical Research Award provides support for investigator-initia
 ted clinical research projects that address diagnosis\, treatment\, manage
 ment of disease or symptom\, or the pathophysiology of cystic fibrosis. Th
 e Clinical Pilot and Feasibility Award enables collection of sufficient pr
 eliminary data to determine the best strategies and methods for approachin
 g a major question\; special consideration will be given to those projects
  that pursue new approaches\, under-researched topics\, or more creative a
 venues of research to address the problems of cystic fibrosis.\n \nFundin
 g:      \nCRA – USD $150’000/year (single-center)\, $350’000/ye
 ar (multi-center)\nCPFA – USD $50’000/year\n \nDuration:     \nC

 ors. Fellows may submit applications\; however\, funding will be considere
 d only if they will hold a faculty-level appointment at the time of the aw
 ard. Industry-sponsored research projects are not eligible for this award.
