DESCRIPTION:Aim: SNIS is pleased to announce the launch of the Call for Pr
 ojects 2018. The Swiss Network for International Studies (SNIS) offers pro
 ject grants for two years amounting to 100’000 to 300’000 Swiss Francs
 . Pluri-disciplinary research teams are invited to submit proposals in any
  area of International Studies or on this year special theme: The fourth i
 ndustrial revolution and its implications for multilateral cooperation.\nS
 pecificities:\n\n	PI and Co-PI: the call is open to professors and post-d
 octoral scientists employed at least 40% by a Swiss academic institution f
 or the duration of the project. SNIS can only cover up to 60% of a part-ti
 me post-doctoral salary. SNIS funding does not cover the salary of FTE pos
 tdoctoral researchers and professors.\n	SNIS funding available for up to 6
 0% of PhD salary.\n	Associated members: SNIS strongly encourages collabora
 tions with International Organisations and NGOs. The team can also include
  researchers from abroad and local partners.\n\nDeadline for pre-proposals
