DESCRIPTION:Aim: The Canadian Institute for Advanced Research (CIFAR) invi
 tes exceptional early career researchers from across the natural\, biomedi
 cal\, and social sciences and the humanities to join one of their interdis
 ciplinary research programs that address some of the most complex question
 s facing the world today. Scholars’ research interests must be aligned w
 ith the themes of an eligible CIFAR research program. In 2018\, the eligib

 a PhD and be within the first five years of a full-time academic appointme
 nt (i.e.\, an appointment beginning no earlier than 1 May 2013). Must be a
