DESCRIPTION:With the joint call “Biomass as an important pillar within e
 nergy systems and the circular economy”\, the ERA-NET Bioenergy network 
 and ERA-NET Cofund mechanism BESTF3 aim to jointly fund innovative\, trans
 national research\, development and innovation (R&D&I) projects in the fie
 ld of bioenergy. Proposals must be submitted by international consortia wi
 th research partners in at least 2 participating countries (preferably mor
 e).\nEach consortium partner is funded separately by its national funding 
 body\, for Switzerland the Swiss Federal Office of Energy (SFOE). In accor
 dance with the priorities of the Federal Energy Research Masterplan\, the 
 main focus is on applied research\, development-related research and pilot
  applications of new technologies for the energetic use of biomass (not ch
 emicals or compounds).\nApplicants MUST contact their national coordinator
