DESCRIPTION:Aim: CIFAR is pleased to announce a second Global Call for Ide
 as\, inviting research leaders from around the world to identify important
  global research challenges that would benefit from CIFAR’s approach to 
 sustained research interactions that include diverse perspectives. Submiss
 ions must address global\, complex questions and identify an interdiscipli
 nary research approach. Proposals will be accepted from all areas of resea
 rch.\n \nFunding: Project-dependent\n \nDuration: 2 years\n \nEligibili
 ty: Team must be composed of at least four members\, at least one of which
  must reside and work in Canada.\n \nHow to Apply: Stage I requires a Let
 ter of Intent (LOI) from researchers who would be key members of the progr
 am. This submission should identify the core elements of the research idea
  and the range of possible research questions for consideration.\n \nAppl
 ication Deadline: Letter of Intent due 21 January 2018 (11:59 pm PST)\nInv
