DESCRIPTION:Ligue vaudoise contre le cancer (LVC) collaborates with all th
 e oncological institutions of the Canton of Vaud to help patients and thei
 r loved ones manage the social\, administrative and financial hardship cau
 sed by the disease. LVC also raises awareness against risks and promotes s
 creening programmes.\nLVC is pleased to announce a Call for Project addres
 sing one of the following Themes:\n\n	Work life after a cancer diagnosis\n
 	Social Insurance and cancer\n	Cancer survivors\n	Cancer prevention\n\nSpe
 cificities:\n\n\n	Research and applicants (students or professional resear
 chers) must be based in the Canton of Vaud.\n	Ongoing projects are not eli
 gible.\n\nFunding: CHF 30’000 for 1 or more projects covering\n\n\n	Sala
 ries for researchers and supporting personnel employed in connection with 
 the project.\n	Research costs (e.g. documentation\, digital resources\, tr
 avel).\n	Material necessary for the research project.\n	Does not cover Sal
 aries for permanent staff at public institutions.\n\nDuration: up to 1 yea
