DESCRIPTION:The purpose of the Novartis Foundation for Medical-Biological 
 Research is to foster medical-biological science by means of financial sup
 port for research projects conducted at Swiss universities or research ins
 titutions in the field of medicine and medically oriented biology/biochemi
 stry. Applicants must be senior researchers responsible for the research p
 roject (PI). Applicants must not have received a grant from the Foundation
  within the previous five years. It is possible to resubmit a significantl
 y adapted version of a previously rejected application.\n \nFunding: CHF 
 60’000\n \nDuration: 1 year.\nIf the project takes longer\, enclose inf
 ormation about your funding for the remaining time.\n \nDeadlines: 1 Febr
 uary\, 15 May and 1 October (every year).\n \nSubmit your application (in
