DESCRIPTION:The State Secretariat for Education\, Research and Innovation 
 (SERI) has commissioned the Zurich University of Applied Sciences (ZHAW) a
 s Leading House for bilateral research collaboration with partner institut
 ions in South Asia and Iran\, namely Afghanistan\, Bangladesh\, Bhutan\, I
 ndia\, Iran\, Maldives\, Nepal\, Pakistan and Sri Lanka.\n\nMobility Grant
 s enable the young generation of scientists to take part in international 
 research collaboration in all disciplines\, including the social sciences 
 and humanities. These grants help build up new and sustainable partnership
 s through personal contacts early on in a scientist’s career. They aim a
 t attracting young talent to Switzerland\, and they encourage researchers 
 in Switzerland to enhance their careers by spending time in an academic en
 vironment abroad.  \n\nEligibility\n\n	Applicants must be young scientist
 s who hold a Master’s degree but no PhD yet\, and with no more than 6 ye
 ars of professional research experience. They must hold nationality of the
  country where their home institute is\, permanent residence or cross-bord
 er commuter permit there\, or be in a marriage or in a registered partners
 hip with a citizen of the country where their home institute is.\n	Home in
 stitutes can be:\n	\n		Swiss federal or cantonal universities\, universiti
 es of applied sciences\, universities of teachers’ education\, or public
  research institutions or\n		Government accredited\, mandated or appointed
 \, or public research institutes in the partner countries.\n	\n	\n	Host re
 searchers must be permanently employed principal investigators at a univer
 sity or research institute.\n\n\nDuration: 1-3 months (latest start: Augus
 t 2018).\n\nDeadline: 31 March 2018\n\nFunding: up to CHF 10\,000 per gran
 t.\n\n\n	For Swiss researchers going abroad\n\n	\n		The Hosting partner ab
 road should fund living allowances.\n		The Grant will cover flights (up to
  CHF 2\,000)\, living costs\, travel expenses\, justified partial conferen
 ce costs\, matriculation fees and social charges at the host institute.\n	
 	Research costs: only Swiss researchers going abroad can request the cover
 age of justified research costs arising abroad. However\, you should rathe
 r seek alternative funding from the ZHAW Bridging Grants\, SNSF or other.\
 n	\n	\n	For researchers coming from the partner countries to Switzerland\n
 	\n		The Partner institute of provenance should cover flights.\n		The Gran
 t will fund living allowances (up to CHF 2\,500 per month).\n	\n	\n	The Gr
 ant\n	\n		Does not cover overheads.\n		Is disbursed to the Swiss sending a
 nd/or host institute only.\n	\n	\n\n\nApplication: Submit your application
