 o main flavours: accepting a research position abroad\, and short-term tra
 velling for collaborations\, meetings or fieldwork. Both can provide great
  opportunities as well as challenges\, especially with children involved. 
 Mobility can be an important factor for success in an academic career\, an
 d is nowadays even seen as an essential requirement in many cases. We will
  discuss opportunities\, challenges and impact of academic mobility. Parti
 cipants will receive information and feedback on how to organize a move ab
 road and short-term travelling. They will be encouraged to selfreflect in 
 order to make a grounded decision regarding mobility in their own lives.\n

 ur family situation with travel requirements\n	Understand opportunities\, 
 challenges and impact of academic mobility\n	Have practical information on
  how to find a position abroad and how to prepare for an international mov

 //www.unifr.ch/regard  \nThe REGARD programme is addressed to young femal
 e academics of the next generation and for women professors of the univers
 ities of French-speaking Switzerland\, HES-SO and EPFL. The REGARD program
 me is organized by the gender equality offices those institutions.  \nThe
  objective of the REGARD program is to develop skills and offer concrete t
 ools for career management and supervision. These workshops also create sp
 aces for discussion and exchange of experiences among researchers. They al
 so aim to increase awareness of gender equality issues in academic careers
 .
