DESCRIPTION:Greg Baethge\nAbstract: Disruptive photonic technologies\, mad
e possible by simulation software tools\, are dramatically altering the wo
rld we live in. In this talk\, we will discuss how Lumerical simulation to
ols enable complex Multiphysics workflows to address a wide range of appli
cations\, from nano-photonic components to parameter extraction and compac
t model generation for circuit and system modeling.\n\nBio: Greg Baethge i
s a Support Engineer at Lumerical Inc. Based in Europe\, he is providing t
raining and technical support for customers. He holds a MSc in Engineering
Physics from Telecom Physique Strasbourg/Université Louis Pasteur\, Fran
ce. Prior to joining Lumerical Solutions\, he was involved in several Phot
onics R&D collaborative projects with academic and industrial partners.\n\
nCompany Profile: Lumerical develops photonic simulation software - tools
which enable product designers to understand light\, and predict how it be
haves within complex structures\, circuits\, and systems. Lumerical is hea
dquartered in Vancouver\, BC\, Canada and was founded in 2003.\n
