DESCRIPTION:The 8th edition of the Dalle Molle Foundation “Quality of li
 fe” prize calls for innovative research projects in the sciences and new
  technologies that are contributing new and original solutions to the impr
 ovement of the quality of life. The foundation supports research pursuing:
 \n\n	The harmonious and balanced management of city life\,\n	The promotion
  of rewarding human\, economic\, social and cultural activities\,\n	The pr
 omotion of socio-cultural integration\, as well as human dignity\, indepen
 dence and personal development and\n	The enrichment of communication and s
 ocial interaction.\n\nResearch projects may focus on problems associated w
 ith science\, social sciences\, humanities\, sustainable development\, cul
 ture or ICT and they may offer solutions within a 2-5-year timeframe.\n \
 nSpecificities:\n\n\n	The competition is open to individuals from all prof
 essional backgrounds and of all ages.\n	Only ongoing research projects bas
 ed in Switzerland or Italy are eligible.\n	Public or private funding bodie
 s must have recognized the scientific quality of the project.\n\n\nFunding
 : CHF 10’000 for costs related to the improvement of the awarded researc
 h project.\n \nDeadline: 30 April 2018\n \nApplication: prepare your app
