 ctures as well as hands-on lab tutorials and offers students and researche
 rs the opportunity to exchange scientific ideas\, create contacts\, and ga
 in inspiration from leading professionals at the cutting edge of fiber las
 ers and optical fiber technology.\nTOPICS\n\n	Materials for photonics and 
 optical fibers\n	Modeling of fiber lasers\n	IR- transparent materials and 
 fibers for lasers\n	Optical fiber waveguides\, fiber Bragg gratings\, and 
 lasers\n	NIR and Mid-IR fiber lasers\n	Biomedical applications of Mid-IR f
 iber lasers\n\nThe program consists of several 3-hour lectures covering a 
 broad range of fiber lasers related subjects. Each lecture starts with bas
 ics\, followed by the state of the art\, and addressing the latest topics 
 in the field.
