DESCRIPTION:Fondation Pierre Mercier pour la Science supports:\n\n	Origina
 l scientific basic\, applied or clinical research\;\n	Projects aiming at r
 emedying the imbalance caused by industrialization on ecology and health.\
 n	Preference is given to projects with applications in the short and mediu
 m term.\n	Research must be conducted for the most part in Switzerland.\n\n
  \nWho can apply: researchers (e.g. PATT\, SNSF-funded Professors\, Adjun
 ct Professors) whose career as leaders of a research group would be booste
 d by the Foundation’s support.\n \nWho cannot apply: \n\n\n	Students\n	
 PhD students\n	Postdoctoral researchers\n	Well-established researchers\n\n
  \nFunding & Duration: up to CHF 150'000-250’000 for to 2-3 years.\n \
 nInternal Deadline: 21 May and 21 November (every year)\nSubmit your propo
 sal to research@epfl.ch to obtain the Letter of Institutional Support (com
 pulsory)\nCall Deadline: 1 June and 1 December (every year)\nSubmit your a
