DESCRIPTION:Aim: The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation is inviting proposals
  for the latest round of Grand Challenges Explorations\, which foster earl
 y-stage discovery research to expand the pipeline of ideas for solving our
  greatest global health and development challenges. Three main challenges 
 are presented this call:\n \n\n	Affordable\, accessible\, and appealing: 
 the next generation of nutrition\n	Tools and technologies for broad-scale 
 disease surveillance of crop-plants in low-income countries\n	Innovations 
 in immunization data management\, use\, and improved process efficiency\n\
 n \nFunding: USD $100\,00 initially\, with up to USD $1 million in follow
 -up funding given project success.\n \nEligibility: Applicants can be at 
 any experience level\; in any discipline\; and from any organization\, inc
 luding colleges and universities\, government laboratories\, research inst
 itutions\, non-profit organizations and for-profit companies.\n \nHow to
