 Alexandre Roulin\, professor in the department of ecology and evolution at
  UNIL\, gives a brief introduction to barn owl biology. Barn owls are one 
 of the few species that are present on all continents\, and their behaviou
 r is of surprising complexity. Furthermore\, during his work with the barn
  owl\, Alexandre Roulin had the opportunity to create interesting collabor
 ations in the Middle East - with the barn owl taking the role of the peace
  dove.
