 Nozomu Itoshiki is a high school teacher in despair. The smallest misfortu
 nes of his work ruin his days and unable to get over these “catastrophes
 ”\, he frequently attempts suicide (apparently a normal thing to do in J
 apan).\nSayonara Zetsubou Sensei is a satirical slice-of-life comedy set i
 n the modern day which is covering various aspects of Japanese life and cu
 lture through the interactions of this teacher with his students who are a
 ll as eccentric as him.
