 talk I will discuss the notion of measure equivalence within the framework
  of locally compact second countable groups\, with primary emphasis on the
  unimodular case\, and explain how classical results\, such as the Ornstei
 n-Weiss theorem\, generalize to this setting. If time permits\, I will als
 o discuss the notion of uniform measure equivalence and its relation to co
 arse equivalence. The talk is based on joint work with Juhani Koivisto and
  Sven Raum.\n
