DESCRIPTION:Aim: Through the Congressionally Directed Medical Research Pro
 gram (CDMRP)\, the Department of Defense is announcing the Breast Cancer B
 reakthrough Fellow Award. This Award will support recent doctoral or medic
 al graduates in pursuit of innovative\, high-impact breast cancer research
  during their postdoctoral fellowship and allow them to obtain the necessa
 ry experience for an independent career at the forefront of breast cancer 
 research. Those individuals should be exceptionally talented researchers w
 ho have demonstrated that they are the “best and brightest” of their p
 eers. Applicants for this award must exhibit a strong desire to pursue a c
 areer in breast cancer research\, with clear evidence for a researcher dev
 elopment plan that will lead to a successful independent career in breast 
 cancer. Applicants must also demonstrate that the proposed research has hi
 gh potential to lead to or make breakthroughs in breast cancer.\n \nFundi
 ng: Maximum USD $300\,000\n \nEligibility: Applicants from international 
 organizations or institutions are eligible to apply\, and there are no cit
 izenship restrictions. Applicant must have completed a doctoral or medical
  degree\, been involved in postdoctoral research for no more than 4 years\
 , and been a member of the target laboratory for no more than 2 years.\n 
 \nHow to Apply: Pre-applications are submitted through the eBRAP platform.
  They should contain contact information\, a letter of intent\, and a list
  of potential references as suggested on the platform. Full applications (
