DESCRIPTION:Aim: Through the Congressionally Directed Medical Research Pro
 gram (CDMRP)\, the Department of Defense is announcing the Ovarian Cancer 
 Omics Consortium Development Award. This Award will support a multi-instit
 utional research effort conducted by leading ovarian cancer researchers an
 d consumer advocates that will specifically focus on the compilation of ne
 w and/or use of existing large datasets to study the origin of ovarian can
 cer disease with an emphasis on early detection and screening. Research pr
 ojects proposed under the Omics Consortium Development Award must use larg
 e datasets (genomics\, proteomics\, metabolomics\, other ‘omics) to focu
 s on origin of disease.\n \nFunding: Maximum USD $400’000\n \nEligibil
 ity: Applicants from international organizations or institutions are eligi
 ble to apply\, and there are no citizenship restrictions. Applicants must 
 be independent investigators at the Associate Professor level or higher.\n

 ey personnel\, and a letter of intent as suggested on the platform. Full a
