DESCRIPTION:Aim: Through the Congressionally Directed Medical Research Pro
 gram (CDMRP)\, the Department of Defense is announcing the Ovarian Cancer 
 Pilot Award. This Award will support the exploration of innovative concept
 s or theories in ovarian cancer that could ultimately lead to critical dis
 coveries or major advancements that will drive the field forward. The prop
 osed research must demonstrate a clear focus on ovarian cancer (e.g.\, usi
 ng tissues\, cell lines\, datasets\, or appropriate animal models). The pr
 oposed research should include a testable hypothesis based on strong scien
 tific rationale and serve as a catalyst to expand or modify current thinki
 ng about and/or approaches in ovarian cancer. The outcome of research supp
 orted by this award should be the generation of robust preliminary data th
 at can be used as a foundation for future research projects.\n \nFunding:
  Maximum USD $250’000\n \nEligibility: Applicants from international or
 ganizations or institutions are eligible to apply\, and there are no citiz
 enship restrictions. Applicants at the postdoctoral level or higher are el
 igible.\n \nHow to Apply: Pre-applications are submitted through the eBRA
 P platform. They should contain contact information\, a list of collaborat
 ors and key personnel\, a preproposal narrative\, and supporting documenta
