DESCRIPTION:SNSF Digital Lives is aimed at researchers in Switzerland whos
 e current research is in the field of the humanities and social sciences. 
 The call addresses questions surrounding the digital transformation: how i
 s digitalisation transforming politics and the economy? How is it changing
  our relationships with people and our subjective experience? How is it tr
 ansforming the humanities and social sciences?\n\nApplicants at Swiss high
 er education institutions may propose pilot projects with a duration of up
  to 18 months. Exploratory studies\, investigations based on new methods a
 nd research aimed at tapping new data sources will be supported. Key crite
 ria for the evaluation are innovation potential and prospects for follow-u
 p research. See also the call document.\n\nThe call for proposals is align
 ed with the National Research Programmes on “digital change in the econo
 my and society”\, whose implementation is to be decided by the end of 20
 18\, with a view to launching the relevant calls in summer 2019. At the sa
 me time\, the Digital Lives call can be used for preparatory research work
  prior to submitting a proposal in other SNSF funding schemes (e.g. projec
 t funding\, Sinergia).\n \nFunding and duration\nFunding amount: from min
