DESCRIPTION:Aim: The ACS GCI Pharmaceutical Roundtable is seeking a 1 year
  R&D commitment to assist the Roundtable’s biopharma initiative. The foc
 us of the R&D will be reducing the process mass intensity of chromatograph
 y operations. Projects should focus on reducing water consumption\, resin 
 usage\, and/or chemical usage in monoclonal antibody purification. Novel t
 echnologies to replace chromatography unit operations will be considered. 
 This collaborative project is intended for a student within the selected P
 rincipal Investigator’s research group.\n \nFunding:       USD $50
 \,000\n \nDuration:      12 months\n \nEligibility: Proposals will 
 only be accepted from public and private institutions of higher education.
  The grant is not limited to institutions in the United States.\n \nHow t
 o Apply: Proposals must be limited to three pages\, including a title page
  and proposed plan of work. The investigator’s capability to carry out t
 he Roundtable’s proposed research should be specifically addressed.\n \
 nProposals must be submitted by email through the Research Office.\n \nAp
